The side-handle form is intended for bowl tea ceremony or simply for everyday ritual. The handle turns naturally in the wrist, index finger resting on the lid. Golden Petal finish. Result of a cone 10/11 reduction firing. Each piece carries the record of where it stood in the kiln. The same form, placed differently, comes out a different piece. The atmosphere does its own work.

Please note that during firing the button on top of the lid shifted slightly and sits beautiful and wabi 10 degrees, this is visible in the photos.
